It is our mission to provide you with affordable, high-quality treatment that fits your budget! We offer a variety of payment options to meet your needs. For your convenience, we accept Visa and MasterCard. We offer interest-free in-house financing through Ortho Banc as well as third party financing through Capital One. We give discounts for payment in full and multiple family members receiving treatment. At Morrish Orthodontics, we thoroughly explain your options, so that we can accommodate your needs.

Payment for Treatment

Your payment plan is designed for your convenience – to help you afford treatment and does not reflect the actual month-to-month work performed. Please note your payment due date. Your payments should be paid by that date.

If your account is 61 days overdue, we reserve the right to discontinue treatment or to place the patient on a “maintenance only” status until the account is current and arrangements are made to reinstate treatment. Should your account become 90 days delinquent, the account will be turned over to a collection agency and all charges incurred will be due and payable by the patient.

Fees and estimated treatment times are based on multiple considerations, which include severity of the malocclusion, anticipated growth and tooth responsiveness. Adequate cooperation is expected. Therefore, should cooperation not be sufficient, treatment time will be prolonged and additional fees will be charged.

Additional Charges Over and Above the Treatment Fee

• Replacement of lost or broken removable appliances/retainers.
• Repair of broken braces due to accidents, abuse or lack of cooperation.
• Additional work, procedures and time required due to poor cooperation or interruption in treatment (ex: more than four missed appointments, more than five breakages, inadequate retainer wear, etc.)
• Slow or unfavorable treatment response and/or growth, which necessitates additional procedures and/or time.
• Additional treatment needed to address trauma (accidents): includes TMJ therapy.
• If treatment goes six months beyond estimated treatment time, a monthly fee will be charged until completion of treatment. Instead of paying additional fees, patient can accept what has been accomplished as the final result and retainers may be placed.

Insurance

If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. Many insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is distinct from regular dental insurance. Remember that insurance policies vary, and we will review your insurance to determine the appropriate course of action. Once treatment has started, we will file your claims with benefits directed to the policyholder.

Please remember that orthodontic insurance is a benefit for you or your child. If, during the course of treatment, your benefits change, the financially responsible party is accountable for all charges.
