Our Team

Sandy

Sandy heads up our clinical staff. She has over 20 years of dental experience in orthodontics and pedodontics. A native of Niles, Michigan, Sandy attended Ferris State University, the University of Kentucky, The Ohio State University and Indiana University. She is a Certified Orthodontic Assistant with certification in expanded functions. In addition, she is a certified Dental Auxiliary member of Ohio State. Sandy loves to exercise! She teaches cycle/spin abdominal classes and is a certified group fitness instructor.

Dana

A native of Indiana, Dana moved to Bradenton when she was two years old. She graduated from Bayshore High School and attended Manatee Community College for two years. She holds certifications in orthodontic assisting and expanded duties. She has over 10 years of experience in the dental and orthodontic field. Dana enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, cooking, eating out and going to amusement parks.

Amber

Amber is our Patient Treatment Coordinator. Born and raised in Bradenton, she graduated from Manatee High School. Amber earned a BA in English Literature and French Language from the University of Central Florida and is currently taking prerequisite courses to continue her dental education. She has certification as a new patient treatment coordinator.

Paula

Paula has 15 years of experience in orthodontics. She attended dental assisting school and has X-ray certification. She works part-time in the laboratory. Paula attended Manatee High School and previously worked for Drs. Cohen and Maddy in Bradenton. She is an active member of her church and enjoys reading.

Rachel

Rachel is one of our chairside assistants. She was born in Rochester, New York and attended Palmyra Macedon Central High School, Fingerlakes Community College and Nazareth College of Rochester, where she earned a B.S. in Art and Design. She has nearly five years of orthodontic experience and holds certification in expanded duties. Rachel volunteers for AHA, ACS, Sarasota County Humane Society and Americorps Vista. She enjoys running, reading, going out to eat and to the beach.

Debbie

Debbie is a sixth-generation resident of the area. She attended Southeast High School and earned a B.S. degree in Human and Family Services from Florida State University. She has been with Morrish Orthodontics since 2002 and is responsible for patient records. Debbie previously worked at Social Work – Project Care and was Director at Kids “R” Kids. She regularly contributes to Project Heart (Homeless Project). Sports, reading and spending time with her two sons are her special interests.

Barb

Barb is our office manager. She is originally from Greensburg, Pennsylvania, where she attended Norwin High School in Irwin, Pennsylvania and Duffs Business Institute. Barb volunteers with the local woman’s shelter and enjoys spending time gardening and playing with her granddaughter, Mya. Prior to joining Morrish Orthodontics, Barb worked in the early child care field where she directed several daycare facilities.
